Here at
media underground you'll be delighted to know that we don't do
modern social media. If you're looking for me on Facebook or Xitter then
you're clearly an idiot.
If you want
to get in touch and have a conversation you'll either have to use your
brain, come to my local pub, or use one of the trusted protocols in
order to establish contact.
Here's a
list of the protocols I use:
Email
Yes that's right, the
good ol' humble email. You all have an email address that you probably
know how to use. I just hope for your sake that it's not a Gmail account
or that you access it through a web interface instead of using a proper
email client. You can contact me here, but don't expect a speedy
response:
mort (at) media-underground.net
IRC
I know! Right? IRC is still a thing and surprisingly popular it is
still too. I have a Raspberry Pi running an IRC core 24/7 so the
chatroom should always be open. Join me or leave a comment here:
#thesubverse on irc.libera.chat (my username: psybernaut)
Lemmy
This is probably the
closest we're gonna get to social media folks. It's a fairly new fangled
thing that you've probably never heard of and part of the fediverse. Be
warned though, if it gets too popular I will probably jump ship:
